State-of-the-Art Digital Mammography
Currently only a fraction of mammography equipment in the U.S. is digital – and you have access to it right here.
Digital mammography captures images electronically, allowing them to be viewed instantly on a computer monitor. It enables the physician to further manipulate the digital image by zooming in and examining smaller areas of the breast tissue. Computer-Assisted Diagnosis is used as an additional reading on all mammograms.

Breast Ultrasound
Breast ultrasound is used to better define suspicious areas seen on mammograms, to determine whether a mass is cystic or solid, and to evaluate the cause of a lump found during a clinical breast examination. If there is an abnormality present, it can be used as a guide for biopsy.
Biopsies
Biopsies are used to determine whether a breast lump or mammographic abnormality is benign or malignant. These procedures are usually performed in an outpatient setting. Using minimally invasive techniques, the physician obtains a small sample of the tissue to test for the presence of cancer. Many abnormalities can be biopsied either by mammographic or sonographic guidance. Our technology and expertise assures complete and accurate tissue diagnosis.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging or MRI
MRI is an excellent supplemental tool to help evaluate breast abnormalities found through mammography and breast exam. Although MRI of the breast is an advance in the fight against breast cancer, it does not replace the mammogram. Our team of experts can determine if breast MRI is an appropriate approach in assisting with a diagnosis.
