"The most important service we can provide our patients is helping them understand the nature of their illness. We do this by explaining the realistic goals and choices they have and by helping them decide their own best treatment. Providing the very best choices, grounded in evidence-based medicine, in a kind and compassionate way is what we strive for every day."

"As I started practicing in Marin there was synchronicity with my desire to provide compassionate care in an environment which supported both Western medicine and healing integrative modalities. It quickly became paramount for me to develop and offer complementary supportive care such as Psychosocial counseling, Guided imagery, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Acupuncture, massage therapy, and Art for Healing at California Cancer Care. Caring for our patients in this manner is very rewarding and a privilege."

It inspired me to be the best doctor I could be, not just by knowing technically what to do, but also by understanding the breadth of difficulties a person faces when given the diagnosis of cancer. I find my patients inspiring – I learn from them and admire them every day.”
