The Linda Tavaszi Survivorship Fund, shortened to the LT Fund for "Life after Treatment," was created to honor the Executive Director for Physician Services and the Marin Cancer Institute. This fund provides comprehensive programs for cancer patients after treatment ends.
A long-time Marin General Hospital executive, Tavaszi supervised the beginnings of the institute.
The fund provides scholarships to help people attend retreats and recovery programs and is for anyone to access, however, low-income men and women are preferred.
Many of the technological improvements made at the Marin Cancer Institute are due to donations from members of our community. Your tax-deductible* donation of any size is greatly appreciated and allows us to continue to provide state-of-the-art care in our beautiful, local setting.
Donors may designate their gifts to a specific program or equipment need, although general, undesignated contributions are gratefully accepted. The policy of Sutter Health is that all charitable contributions remain in the local community and are used for local hospital needs.
