The Marin Cancer Institute helps patients from the Prostate/ Genitourinary Cancer Program find the right combination of support groups and services to meet their needs. There is even a specialized group of services just for spouses and family members of our patients.

Through the Institute for Health & Healing, prostate cancer patients, as well as all MCI patients, can take advantage of various Integrative Medicine services for Holistic Care. This information group meets to exchange views, concerns and to give positive support to each other. This group provides a safe place to understand the impact prostate cancer may have on your lifestyle. There is no facilitator; however, the common interest of the group and respect for each other creates a mutual bond. This group is an official American Cancer Society "Man to Man" Support Group as well as a designated US TOO International Support Group. Wives and significant others are welcome to attend. Support Services for Spouses and Families of Prostate Cancer Patients MCI's Spouse & Family Involvement Services help our patients' loved ones participate in treatment decisions as well as offering support and teaching them how to cope with the added roles of being caregivers.
The Institute for Health & Healing also offers low cost services for families of MCI patients including:- Guided Imagery
