Volunteer

Marin Cancer Institute welcomes the assistance of volunteers and values their help. Volunteers make it possible for us to provide superior care to each patient.

To become a volunteer, you must:
  • Take part in an orientation and tour of Marin General Hospital:
    First Saturday of each month, 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

  • Have an interview with the Coordinator of Volunteers.

  • Receive medical clearance from Occupational Health Services at MGH, including passing a TB test and providing immunization certification.

  • Join the volunteer program, take an oath of confidentiality and be placed in a volunteer position.
